Bring... <back to top>
- At least a dozen digital files from your archive. We'll review how files are set up. We strongly encourage limiting file sizes. Maximum recommended print size is 23.5 x 35 inches 2 300DPI.
- RAW files or 16-bit scans for processing during the week.
- A few prints. We'll review print quality. Also be sure to include a print as well as your optimized file for that image. It’s useful to include what you learn into an existing, familiar image and at the weeks end – compare the before and after!
- A portfolio or collection of your work in any media or form (printed or electronic). Seeing your body of work will help us direct you to the techniques and resources you need individually.
- Removable media. (CDs take time to burn. Portable hard drives are highly recommended.)
- (Optional) Printed printer targets for building a custom ICC profile for your printer (see above).
- (Optional) A camera. There will be no time scheduled for shooting during the workshop but you may want to shoot before and after hours.
Plan to... <back to top>
- Spend hours in the lab mastering digital printing and Photoshop.
- Leave with finished prints.
- Break bread, drink wine, and have long conversations at fine local establishments.
